Speaker Guidelines

All speakers addressing Colleagues in Trading receive no compensation from that appearance.

Speakers who claim to provide incremental trading success must provide verifiable references.

Speakers do not return a portion of their sales to Colleagues in Trading, or its constituents for an appearance.  They may pay a moderate fee for site, accommodations or other special services.  If they have an affiliate relationship, and Colleagues in Trading signs up, all proceeds will go to the charity identified by the involved trader. 

Speakers will adapt their primary message to be of value to a wide audience of traders, not only a select 'following'.

Following a primary message, speakers will remain on site for the remainder of the day to address follow-on questions, further refine or codify the message to their area of expertise or otherwise offer support to Colleagues in Trading traders.

Speakers who advocate specific technical analyses / strategies or selection methods will provide specific 'guidance' on those methods/strategies in order for them to be 'coded' into languages for various platforms. Additionally, they will be 'back tested' for purposes of cursory credibility...neither as a guarantee or indictment!

Speakers who advocate specific exits or 'money management' methods will be asked to subject it to in-house automated systems for same, again, for cursory validity check, not a guarantee or indictment.

Speakers who have product (merchandise, seminars, etc) to sell will isolate that sale to near-end of primary presentation and will utilize the provided forum for its delivery.

Speakers are requested to donate one copy of  such product or information to remain at the Traders' Reference & Support Center for review and demonstration purposes only.  NO LIVE trading will occur with any products provided. 

All speakers may be checked by our members, also, by using one of the following:

Stock-Market Regulated: (NASD)

Futures Regulated: (NFA / CFTC)

Check the SEC for outstanding issues in the stock markets.

Dr. Clayburg was our inaugural speaker! He laid outstanding groundwork for the elements of good strategies, reiterative 'self-adaptation' ( a form of recursive backtesting and correction). Coupled with focus on a specific 'market', which is studied in depth, John showed us how one can become proficient and profitable.

John's book, "4 Steps to Trading Success", is available both in our library and our bookstore CIN-Books.
